What happens if the transfer of my domain name fails?
Don't worry domain name transfers can fail for a variety of reasons we will always inform you when this happens and as to the reason why. Once the reason has been rectified the domain name transfer can always be requested again.
Generally a domain name transfer fails because the confirmation email was not been received by the registrar, this may be because the email address it was sent to is no longer valid. It is therefore important before transferring a domain name to ensure that at least one or both of the owner and admin email contact addresses are up to date.
