  Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean if my domain name is in redemption grace period?

The Redemption Grace Period refers to domain names ending in .gTLD that are not renewed.

The domain name enters the Redemption Grace Period approximately 30 days after expiry and lasts approximately for a further 30 days. During this period the registrar impose an additional cost to renew the domain name. After this time the domain name can not be renewed or registered for a further 5 days after which time the domain name would be deleted by the registry and be available for anyone to register.
