Name2net do not charge a domain name transfer fee in or out. However, some web hosts may charge you when you transfer your domain name away from them so its always best to check first .
There
are two main types of domain name transfer, a
nameserver change only and a full domain name transfer:
Nameserver change only
The domain name is still administered
and renewed through your current host/ISP but you would use our web and email forwarding
or web hosting service with your domain name.
Full transfer of domain name
The domain name would be administered and renewed through
us.
When you transfer your domain name to us for free and purchase any of our web hosting packages or our web and email forwarding service, once your domain name has been fully transferred to us we will automatically add 1 year to the registration of your domain name for free.
For example if your domain name currently expires on 14 October 2009 we would add 1 years registration so that the new expiry date would be 14 October 2010.
Unfortunately, due to their nature this offer does not apply to .uk domain names. However, you still can transfer your domain name free of charge to us and benefit from low cost web hosting or from our web and email forwarding service
